The overall design will certainly remain the same, which means you may count on an SUV that offers excellent handling and good driving dynamics, along with a luxurious cabin. This is also one of the most efficient models in the class.

Of course, this is the aspect that definitely won’t bring changes. The Mazda CX-9 2024 will carry on with a well-known setup, which is based on a well-known 2.5-liter turbo-four, which comes in pair with a 6-speed automatic transmission. The total output goes around 227 horsepower but if you pour premium fuel, it goes all-away up to 250 horses and really impressive 320 pound-feet of torque. Interior
Since we are talking about probably the last model year of the generation, bigger changes on the inside aren’t expected either. You may count on the same layout, which is still one of the most impressive in the class. The overall quality is at a pretty impressive level, both in terms of materials and aesthetics. Everything looks really luxurious and elegant, while the long list of standard and available equipment makes everything feel even more opulent.

On the other side, one of the biggest drawbacks of this model is the amount of space. Despite the wheelbase and length, the third row isn’t particularly spacious. Moreover, it is pretty tight for the class. On the other side, the first and second-row seats are pretty spacious and comfortable.
The cargo area is also pretty small for the segment. You may count on about 14.4 cubic feet behind the third row, 38.2 behind the second and 71.2 behind the first row. Those are some of the lowest ratings in the class.
