Jeep Wagoneer 2024: Price and Pics. Along with the upcoming next-generation Grand Cherokee, the Jeep Wagoneer 2024 and Grand Wagoneer are the most anticipated models that are about to come from Jeep. Although the launch was planned for this year, it has been delayed, due to the Coronavirus outbreak. The latest reports suggest that new models will arrive sometime in the next year. A great thing to know is that we already know most of the design characteristics, especially when it comes to mechanics and base design approach.
Without any doubt, this will be the new flagship model in Jeep’s lineup. The 2024 Wagoneer will be a full-size, BoF SUV, with potential to compete with both mainstream and premium models. It will share many parts with Ram 1500, though we count on loads of exclusivities. The long-wheelbase version will come as Grand Wagoneer. When it comes to the powertrain, we have no doubt that the new SUV will rely on FCA’s proven units.
Jeep Wagoneer 2024 Engines
Under the hood, the Jeep Wagoneer 2024 will rely on FCA’s familiar units. This means that base models will come with a well-known 3.6-liter Pentastar V6 engine, which puts out around 305 horsepower. On the other side, higher trim levels will come with a 5.7-liter HEMI V8, which is good for about 395 horsepower and 410 pound-feet of torque. Both engines will come in pair with an 8-speed automatic transmission and both engines will come with the company’s new mild hybrid system called eTorque, either as a standard feature or as an option.
Some sources also suggest the possibility of a diesel version. If this happens, we count on a familiar 3.0-liter V6 with 260 horsepower and 480 pound-feet of torque. There are also some talks about a Hellcat version, though we don’t believe this will happen, at least not in the first couple of years of production.
Jeep Wagoneer 2024 Design
The Jeep Wagoneer 2024 SUV is coming back after years of hiatus. The famous nameplate will once again be in use and from what we know so far, things look really promising. When it comes to the base design characteristics, there is no doubt that the new SUV will share most of its part with the new Ram 1500. The two models will share the platform and most of the mechanics, though we have no doubt that the Jeep Wagoneer 2024 will come with a couple of exclusive features as well. We are not talking about the styling, but rather about mechanics. The first thing that comes to mind is chassis and suspension setup. The new model will certainly feature independent rear suspension, which became a standard in this segment. It provides a significantly better driving experience, whether its about comfort and handling.
Styling and Exterior Design
When it comes to styling, we can’t say too much at the moment. The new model is still in the testing phase and even though we’ve spotted the test mule for a couple of times, it still wears a complete camouflage. We can’t talk about specific aesthetical details. We have no doubt that the company will stick to its traditional design solutions, so the new flagship SUV shouldn’t be radically different from other Jeep models. It will certainly come with those recognizable vertical bars on the grille and other Jeep’s trademark details.

When it comes to things we do know, the first thing we should mention that the Jeep Wagoneer 2024 will feature a classic SUV body, with loads of rectangular shapes and boxy overall shape. We presume that dimensions will be similar to the competitors, which would mean more than 120 inches in wheelbase and around 210 inches in total length.
Interior
The cabin of the new model is also a complete mystery. Another problem is that other Jeep models have been around for a while, so we doubt their cabins will serve as inspiration for the new Jeep Wagoneer 2024 interior. The only thing we can do at the moment is to presume that the dashboard will feature mostly conventional design solutions, while the overall quality will certainly be at a high level. Most likely, FCA will try to stretch out this SUV to be able to compete with both mainstream and premium SUVs. In terms of quality, this means that base trim levels will be closer to models like Expedition and Tahoe, while the range-topping version will give Navigator and Escalade run for their money.

When it comes to the interior space, we count on three spacious, adult-friendly rows of seats, as well as on a spacious cargo area. The long-wheelbase Grande Wagoneer will certainly feature significantly bigger cargo area, though the passenger room will probably remain the same.
