Land Rover Range Rover 2024: Redesign and Price. After nine years of production, the current generation of Land Rover’s flagship model is about to be replaced. The new generation is on the way and it is about to bring a log of interesting novelties. We are about to see it riding on a new platform, utilizing much more lightweight materials. Of course, this redesign will bring a new styling, while we also expect to see a lot of new things under the hood. There is a new interior design, which has been spotted recently and which shows large screens and lots of digitalization in general.
The main reason why we are interested in this redesign is the rumor that the new generation is about to get a stretched version. So, besides the standard model that features two rows of seats, the new Land Rover Range Rover 2024 will also come as a 7-seater, for the first time in its history.
The new model should have a premiere sometime in the second half of the year.
Land Rover Range Rover 2024 Engines
Under the hood, one of the biggest novelties we’ve heard is that the Land Rover Range Rover 2024 will come with BMW’s 4.4-liter twin-turbo V8 in the offer. Of course, this engine will power range-topping versions and it will come as a replacement for a good-old 5.0-liter Supercharged V8.
The rest of the lineup should include all kinds of powertrain options. Of course, the new 2.0-liter turbo-four should be standard, while the 3.0-liter inline-six with a mild-hybrid setup should be in the offer too. We count on diesel engines on some markets as well, particularly on a 3.0-liter turbodiesel with around 300 horsepower.
Finally, we count on PHEV and EV versions. The latest probably won’t come in the next few years.
Land Rover Range Rover 2024 Redesign
This redesign is about to bring a lot of novelties and one of the first things that come to mind is the platform. Just like the rest of the lineup, this model will also switch to JLR’s new Modular Longitudinal Architecture, which will bring a lot of improvements. Of all, this platform utilizes a lot of lightweight materials, aluminum in particular. At the same time, the company claims that the rigidity will remain on the same level, if not to become even higher.
Another interesting aspect of this platform is electrification. It supports all kinds of setups, including an all-electric layout with electric motors on both axles. This clearly indicates that we are about to see an electric Ranger Rover in the future, though it certainly won’t be finished for the initial launch.
Exterior
In terms of the exterior design, the only thing we can see at this moment is that the shape is about to remain pretty similar. The test mule has been around for a while but it still wears a heavy camouflage. It’s hard to talk about some more detailed styling solutions. Still, we are pretty sure that anything radical won’t happen and that the new appearance will be the evolution of the current model, with subtle changes only.
What’s interesting about the new Land Rover Range Rover 2024 is that we will probably see a long-wheelbase version in the offer. The standard version will probably keep similar dimensions to the outgoing model, which measures around 115 inches in wheelbase. On the other side, the stretched version should go with way over120 inches between the axles, which would make it a direct rival to models like Mercedes-Benz GLS, BMW X7, etc.
Interior
When it comes to the interior design, we have recently seen the first spy shots that show the inside of the new SUV. From what we can see on them, the Land Rover Range Rover 2024 interior is far from finished. Most areas still wear camouflage, but we can clearly see that most physical controls will be replaced. A 10-inch touchscreen is clearly visible on the center stack and it is pretty much the same as the one in the new Defender. The instrument cluster is also completely digital.

The biggest change will certainly be the introduction of the stretched version. That model will offer an additional row of seats, with a seating capacity that goes up to seven. At this point, it’s hard to say how spacious the third row will be, but we presume it will be comfortable enough to accommodate adults relatively easily.
Land Rover Range Rover 2024 Release Date and Price
The latest reports suggest that the new Land Rover Range Rover 2024 will have a premiere in the second half of the year. However, we don’t believe that sales could start before 2024. The current model starts at around 92.000 dollars.
