Suzuki SX4 S-Cross 2024: News and Design. Suzuki’s small crossover is great in so many ways. It is affordable, easy to drive and extremely reliable. That’s why it still makes pretty good sales numbers, even though it has been around since 2013. Therefore, the Japanese manufacturer isn’t rushing with the redesign. Still, that doesn’t mean that the Suzuki SX4 S-Cross 2024 isn’t coming without changes. The company has prepared another facelift, which will bring a couple of new styling details, as well as novelties under the hood.

Typically for Suzuki, which is one of the most conservative carmakers in Japan, so visual changes are rather subtle. On the other side, chances are pretty big in Europe, where this small crossover comes with two new powertrain options. On the other side, the cabin remains pretty much the same.

When it comes to powertrain, big novelties are coming for the European version of this crossover. There are three new engine options in the offer. The first one is a new 1.4-liter turbo-four with around 140 horsepower. The second one is a hybrid version based on this engine, which also features a total output of 140 horsepower. There is a new entry-level version, which uses a 1.0-liter three-cylinder turbo engine with 100 horses.

In other parts of the world, the Suzuki SX4 S-Cross 2024 will carry on with a familiar 1.5-liter naturally-aspirated engine, which is good for about 110 horsepower. It doesn’t deliver particularly great performances, but it’s well-known for excellent reliability and durability. Versions with familiar MultiJet engines from Fiat are available on certain markets.

When it comes to design changes, this essentially the same vehicle that has been introduced seven years ago. Mechanics and overall design are completely the same. On the other side, the company did another facelift and once again, things are rather subtle. Practically, the most significant change is a new grille, which utilizes chrome bars, designed in a similar manner as on the new Vitara. Headlights have remained the same from the outside, but there is a new internal layout, which definitely has a nice impact on the overall visual appeal.

On the other end of the car, you can also notice slight revisions. The main revisions are those in terms of the rear bumper and taillights. Of course, you may also count on new color options and wheels.

Interior

While exterior changes are very notable and quite nice, the inside of the Suzuki SX4 S-Cross 2024 remains largely the same. You may count on the same cabin layout, which is rather functional than stylish. We can’t say it looks bad but today’s customers pay a lot of attention to interior materials and in this case, you may count on mostly hard plastics. If that doesn’t bother you too much, you will enjoy comfortable seats, very good ergonomics and great build quality.

We like the fact that despite the affordable price, the amount of standard equipment is more than decent. All models come standard with things like adaptive cruise control and power side mirrors. Mid-level options come standard with things like a touchscreen interface, cloth upholstery, heated front seats, leather-wrapped steering wheel etc. Most expensive models also come with goodies like navigation, parking sensors, panoramic roof etc.

The updated Suzuki SX4 S-Cross 2024 already arrived at most markets. Despite that there are some pretty interesting novelties, the price has remained pretty much the same, at least when it comes to base models, which go around 17.500 dollars in Europe. In southeast Asia, base models are far more affordable, mostly because of the engine lineup. They start around 12.500 dollars.
